Whenever disturbed, they can become very aggressive and their sting is painful and potentially life-threatening to allergic people
Wasp treatments are more effective when done early in the morning or late in the afternoon, when the insects are more present in and around their nests. Spraying an appropriate pesticide around the nest is enough to get rid of the whole colony. It is very important to carefully check the whole property for wasp nests, as there may be one or more well hidden and apply pesticide to all of them.
